MPG = Miles Driven ÷ Gallons Used
Trip Cost = Gallons Used × Price per Gallon
Cost per Mile = Trip Cost ÷ Miles Driven

MPG = Miles Driven ÷ Gallons Used Liters per 100km = (Gallons × 3.78541) ÷ (Miles ÷ 1.60934) × 100 Trip Cost = Gallons Used × Price per Gallon Cost per Mile = Trip Cost ÷ Miles Driven Example: 300 miles driven, 10 gallons used, $3.50/gallon MPG = 300 ÷ 10 = 30 MPG Trip Cost = 10 × $3.50 = $35 Cost/Mile = $35 ÷ 300 = $0.117 per mile
